How do I know if I’ve taken care of all the required taxes?
Federal Withholding tax, Social Security tax, Medicare tax—and the list goes on! Tracking the payroll taxes can be overwhelming, but our expert staff will withhold the correct tax amounts from the paychecks and ensure that tax payments are remitted on time.
What are the options I have for paying my employees?
We have several options for paying your employees:
• We can print checks in our office and send them to you for your signature.
• We can send you pay stubs and you can write the checks.
• We can deposit directly to the employee’s bank account with Direct Deposit.
How do I fill out all those government forms?
We prepare the forms for you and can electronically file most of them. No longer will you need to enter information, figure out complicated forms, or worry about due dates.
Can you help me figure out what employee papers I need to keep on file?
Never miss a required employee form again! We will send you the correct forms and make sure that each employee has completed copies on file. We can even pre-fill your forms so that your employee simply signs and dates the document (you would need to submit some basic information first). If you are audited, your employee paperwork will be in order.
Will you help me know what laws have changed and how that affects my business?
Our tax preparers keep abreast of changing laws, and we do our best to notify you of any changes that would affect your business.
Are you familiar with the laws related to the plain community’s 4029 exemption (Social Security exemption)?
We specialize in religious exemptions for both Social Security and Workers’ Compensation. This can cut down on the amount of tax you owe and the amount of insurance you pay.
Where can I find an employee poster? I know I’m supposed to have one posted.
A laminated federal and state labor law poster is included with our payroll service at no extra charge.
I’m concerned about audits, will you help?
Yes, we will help. Providing all the necessary information may seem like a daunting task. For a reasonable fee, we provide assistance with your annual Workers’ Compensation audits, random unemployment audits, and even IRS audits, should they occur.
